Why is it called War of the Worlds 2???

This has nothing to do with the original War of the Worlds and it's title suggests that it is a sequel of the first one. Fortunately I always check titles on IMDB before I watch them. I gave it 1 star and will never watch it

It was an attempt to cash in on the name-recognition of the War of the Worlds story.
