Spoiler - Nathan

SPOILER -- DON'T READ if you didn't see the movie yet (you shouldn't be reading the message boards before seeing any movie).

Nathan was humiliated by his dad in front of everyone at the table, his dad told him to go to his hut and leave them alone (!) I thought that was a bit harsh, especially since it was a special weekend for Nathan with his upcoming Bar Mitzvah and all .. so the father sounded like a jerk to me.

But anyway ... when Jeanne went to look for Nathan in the woods .. there was something grim about that scene, there was a foreshadowing, especially when Jeanne looked into the lake and gasped. Does anyone recall? to me I was sure the kid committed suicide there.

Has anyone sensed the same thing? and why would the story want to mislead people this way??

I just watched this movie yesterday. I do agree! The music and the whole scene mislead us to think that he committed suicide or that something terrible has happened to him.

I think the movie would be great as a short film :)

The whole movie is a bunch of false drama. It's totally empty, which might even be the point, but it's not good to watch.

Yep, for a split second there I thought the same thing.
