If you lived around people that this show is making fun of, it would make a lot more sense.

I'm from a hippie California town, and this is a spot on send up of those kinds of people. I found it hilarious and easy to relate to. But again, if you don't spend time around real people like the the Goode Family, yeah, it probably wasn't very funny...

It's not that people couldn't relate to it, it's that no one could watch it because they didn't advertise well enough for the premiere of the series. It started airing at the end of May. It was a horrible time for the show to debut.




Idiots think analysis is magic. Michael Bay ruined those individuals' childhoods.
