What Happened to Moom?

At the end we only saw Zen and her father, did moom die (since he was shot in the gut) or was he just left behind?

Right!? She had her father in the end. Was Moom simply abandoned?

That bothered me, too. There must be survivors from the old gang with a grudge against Moom. Maybe the father had the Yakuza protect him or something, or gave him money to get started somewhere else.

Her dad was all like "f off kid" and she went "yeah you f off kid" and then Moom ran away crying.
