Live performances on film

How much great footage of live performances is lying dormant with nobody getting the opportunity to see it? I have been reading Klaus Kinski's autobiography, Kinski Uncut, since watching this film and I am sure there must be more great footage of his live performances. Not to mention all the other great performers of the 20th and 21st century. Perhaps the next liver performance film should be of Bob Dylan's 1966 world tour with The Band in which he upset the audience somewhat for using a back-up band rather than just a guitar and harmonica.
