As usual another poor movie of 2008..

In single line ... nothing new, mixture of several movie and at last a total disaster and boring.You can predict what is going to happen.

I am not an expert to criticize the film on direction, acting, script, music. But apart that there are many errors in the facts. I am just mentioning one..

Raj said he got job in Microsoft in Mumbai... ,confused??? when Microsoft opened a center in Mumbai,Siddharth Anand bhai kuch soch ke to movie banou. Next se movie banou hi mat..

The movie was pretty well made, good acting from everyone too

Difficult takes a day to accomplish; Impossible takes a week

Yeah you are absolutely right! Ranbir is very bad at acting,not even near to what his father was.The movie is full of crappy errors.

I agree with Ankita, this movie was utter garbage. Don't get me wrong, I liked that guy in Saawariya but this was just one of those movies.

Watching most of these Bollywood candyfloss entertainment is like enjoying a guilty pleasure: Yes, there's loopholes in the script,and song & dance does annoy after a while but come on... this movie did have a pretty OK script and well it never said it was going to be earth-shattering, ground breaking cinema, and nor was it even close to being a Yash Raj classic that will be remembered for ages... but it was a light-hearted and IMO well spent 2.5 hours...

dude i hated the fim, but microsoft does have an office in mumbai, it doesnt do anything important, but it is there, their main development center in india is in bangalore

The following are my reasons for liking the film,

a) many lives, many characters
b) Bipasha Basu's acting and she looks the bit
c) capturing a bachelor's life in Mumbai, well done
d) Ranbir acted very well. In the recent past, I've loved to hate the guy dismissing him for the ugliest nose since lord knows when. He looked very smart in the film
e) The film had balls becuase noone wants anyone's sympathy after it's over. If it's over, it's over, men never go back to their ex-girlfriends to apologize, atleast I wouldn't. How creepy,hypocritical and self-indulgent
f) Every few minutes there was something to laugh about. His flirting skills, while they may be considered obsolete, were actually effective.

I watched this a new york theater, the crowd in general thought it was ok. My friends and I loved it and so did the lonesome beautiful girls because they were hysterical at the situations.

A lot of energy in the film.

About the flaws and loopholes, I've never been one to care unless it's a murder mystery I'm watching.

totally agree with the poster.....the same crap doled out by bollywood week-in week-out.I dont know what ppl found so amusing in this movie which wasn't there in earlier bollywood crap...just another usual bollywood isthyle movie...miss this and u wont miss much....

Not in a single line: completely new for Bollywood cinema, not a mixture of several movies (or even a couple for that matter), and finally, not a total success of a movie by far, but yet, quite entertaining.

You can definately predict what's going to happen in the movie; this was a popcorn flick, not a suspense or a thriller. So get over your stuck-up selves and enjoy this movie for what it is.

You clearly are not. The majority of the songs were really good; as someone earlier mentioned, the movie had me laughing every 5-10 minutes; the movie was very well-paced; and the acting was adequite (for a popcorn flick, of course).

Are you serious? Out of all the inaccuracies in all the Bollywood movies out there, you decide to pick the one of the least noticable and most irrelavant ones. Who the hell cares if there's a Microsoft office in Mumbai? The point of that was to notify the audience that he had a secure and good job in a big corporation; not to tell them his salary and his benefits.

Overall, this wasn't a great movie, but it was definately better than the majority of the movies that come out in Bollywood.

after rewatching i agree that the film isnt bad at all

the theme of past mistakes is a very good one, but the film could have been better, the first half more meaning ful
