Worst Lundgren film (Coming from a fan)

This was total absurdity. Danny Lerner or whatever the *beep* his name is needs a helping fist from Dolph. I can't believe Dolph would even agree to something this tragic. I'm glad he redeemed himself with 'The killing machine' because this was an absolute abortion! Nothing flowed, no one looked like they were enjoying the scenes and the editing was *beep* horrible. I'm glad that every film Dolph directed turned out to be half decent, which shows a strong contrast between abominations such as this.

You really think this was his worst film? Have you ever seen Retrogade? A film so bad it was shelved for like 5 years. "Detention" was another stinker. This one, bas as it might be, was atleast watchable... and somewhat funny if not absurd.

reply

I am a fan of Dolph also, but i don't think that this is one of his worst movies, i found it very entertaining and fun.

reply

the movies hes done after this pile of crap have been good thank god even command performance was decent and yeah the expendables

reply

I enjoyed this film, sure it was filled with car chases and explosions from other B-grade action films, but it was never boring.

People complain about the film's cheap look, well go watch 'The A-Team' or something, if you want big, stupid, Hollywood fluff.

Don't set your expectations too high before watching a Dolph film and just go along for the ride.

Direct Contact is a bit of fun and true Dolph fans will enjoy it for what it is.

reply

I also thought it was enjoyable for a B-movie, and Dolph did a good job with what he was given.

reply

Agreed, worse than Detention.

Those foolish enough to move from canada to america increase the average I.Q. of both countries

reply

This was far, far worse than Detention. Terrible stock footage with a total lack of continuity in editing.

reply

Disappointing yes, worst Lundgren ever? Not by a long shot. I give that honor to Agent Red.

It`s been a while since I saw this one, for me it was just about watchable. I might give it a second viewing. I have been going through his back catalogue for a while now and having seen quite a few good one and some not so good, "The Last Patrol" was hard to get through. I did finish it but it was tough.

I plan on seeing command performance but so far I have liked all the films he has directed and look forward to the next one.
