While doing press for The Wolfman, Hopkins recently revealed new details about You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger:

“I play this stupid man called Alfie who’s married but decides to have a second life where he has this much younger girlfriend, and she’s taking him for every penny he’s got,” he says with a chuckle. “Lucy Punch plays my girlfriend and Naomi Watts plays my daughter. It’s great fun and Woody Allen is a great guy to work with.”

Anthony also offers up some more bits on working with Woody:

"I couldn’t believe I was working with Woody Allen. He’s a funny little guy. He’s lovely and terrific. He said, “That scene you just did was awful. It’s dying on its feet.” Or, he’d say things like, “Don’t pause there, because I just go to sleep if you pause.” But, he’s a nice guy."

... which of course goes against the myth Woody likes to propagate that he never tells his actors anything other than "faster".

Haha I just watched a doco about the making of Starwars and they said the same thing of Lucas.... "okay try it again but faster"
