Here's how movie should've ended

When the two Sams go onto the moon's surface in their lunar rover, they find a huge crater with an ocean of human bones. CUT TO them back at the station talking & trying to figure out what's going when suddenly New Sam says *beep* I just had a thought! Wait here!" CUT TO New Sam back in the rover heading for the ocean of bones. As he's doing that, Old Sam discovers the secret room of future clones. New Sam drives the rover up to the ocean of bones. He gets out & picks up a skull. The skull has a chipped tooth. He picks up another skull, it has the same tooth that's chipped. He picks up another & another. They all have the same chipped tooth. CUT TO Old Sam in the secret room discovering clones of himself. It's a seemingly infinite hall of drawers. He runs & runs down the hall, pulling out random drawers--all with clones of him. CUT TO New Sam back in his Rover. He takes out his "remote" future laptop that he's finally able to contact the Earth in real time with. He learns that it's the year 6173 & that the original Sam & his family have been dead for thousands of years. He freaks out & starts yelling, screaming, and crying. As he does, we see that he has the exact same chipped tooth as all the skulls in the ocean of bones. THE END.

There's not infinite amount of clones, and the whole thing wouldn't work without the corporation there to maintain Gerty and the base and communicate with them, and to pay the electricity bills and such, as well as receive the payloads.

Of course the corporation could be eventually run by self-maintaining and repairing robots, but then clones wouldn't make any sense, if robots could do the job..

BTW, I'd advice against the 'wall of text'-style writing, it's hard to figure out the point of what you are trying to say.
