So What the F?

O.K I've seen a fair bit of French cinema and have came to the conclusion that they have a thing for gloomy atmosphere , depressing music and weird camera angles but seriously, what the F is this? What's the point and to what end?
Please don't tell me there is no conclusion because this is an indie and hence
no boundaries whatsoever or it is so awesome that's beyond comprehension of an average joe. because it's Ain't and you're obviously fooling yourselfs.
Heck, my granny can do better than this with her camcorder in a nearby clinic.
