Good actor. Takes edgy and very interesting material. Not the usual leading man.

He's an excellent actor. I appreciate that he takes more indy films. It allows his talent to speak more for itself.

What an a$$hat.

I have consistently liked all of his movie roles thus far. Very underrated actor.

this is an idiot comment

what about actors like leonardo di caprio / george clooney / brad pitt / orlando bloom / johney depp

all of these are considered to be good looking men and often draw large male audiences

Yup, and thank goodness! I think he's a terrific actor who makes interesting choices. Honestly, there are a lot of movies and shows I probably would never have considered had he not been in them.

I respect the fact he didn't sell his soul to Hollywood. He has the looks, the talent, the charm, and has been in many really good movies. He could have easily cashed in doing one big budget, formulaic and predictable blockbuster after another but that wasn't his preference.

As a fan, I'd love to see JH in more projects but I understand what a delicate balance it must be for some actors. They want to ply their trade, do good work, and have their projects seen by the masses but they also want to live a normal, down-to-earth life.
