Ridiculous. He couldnt even get a meal carrying sword like that. It was almost like being the devil that time. Sure there was killing and fighting. But carrying a sword that butchers people, leaves them with no hope of survival, was not a thing. Even amongst thieves. Its just ridiculous.
If you dont know what im talking about- sword like this is like worst kind of barbarism. Its wasnt even used in recent wars. I dont know what guy that came up with that was thinking.
I am assuming you're talking about the notched sword the guy had? If so, there's nothing so terrible about that sword and what the guy who came up with it was thinking about was historic weaponry. It's called a sword breaker. The notches are used to catch an opponents blade so you can swing them off balance and follow up with your main-hand weapon.

yeah there is. It was unacceptable. Why the dagger? Because it could be hidden well, not a sword. I read a lot of this stuff and i never seen a mention of a sword like that. Combat, of course and so on. but not a sword you are carrying in public. thats my point.
