currently on episode two and very disapointting

anybody else think this was a bit flat compared to blue planet and planet earth, don't seem that exciting or very interesting, the filming of the animals is top notch and attenborough is a legend as usual.

maybe i just ain't feeling the subject matter in these first two episodes?

newts and frogs mainly.

I thought this was a lesser series compared to some others (particularly Life On Earth). It seemed like David Attenborough having fun rather than a full blown series. He's been interviewed on UK TV saying that he won't be doing another full blown eight year project again (I suspect wise given he's over 80). I can't find it in my heart to begrudge him a little fun - particularly if it means him hanging around a bit longer, but I agree, it lacked something of the oomph of some of his other work.
