quick question

Ok I'll be honest: When the show was about a paramedic who could read minds that was great, I was really into the first season... Second season was ok but I would have preferred Charlie marks lol

Third season I sort of watched but fourth and fifth never did. My question is, with there being so much mystery and unanswered questions in the first season did season 4 and 5 answer some of those questions?

Did Toby ever meet Ray from the first season again? Or find his mother or anything? I don't want to waste my time watching two more seasons of a show that was good if they are not gonna touch on tobys past.

I'm not asking for spoilers just a simple yes or no. Is the 4th and fifth season a good watch and answer a lot of questions?

Did the fourth season answer any questions from the first season? No, don't think so.
Did the fifth season answer any questions? Yes, a few.

I do think these are spoilers, so...
Did Toby ever meet Ray again? No.
Did he find his mother? Yes

The show is pretty light on explanations; I would have preferred more. I still like the show for other reasons, especially Toby + Tia. I like the last two seasons, but I get that it's not for everyone.

Just finished the last episode. To be truthful, the further away from the show I am now getting, the angrier I am at the writer's because they had five years to develop the lead character. The problem is that they created a character without a single recognizable chatacter flaw. Perhaps I am wrong and I'd love to eat crow. So here is the challenge - name a flaw that Toby's character had through the five season run. My only thought was with his run in with his old girlfriend, played by Firefly's Jewel Staite. However, here is a kid, abandoned by his Mom, never knew his Dad, grew up in the foster care system, and has this power he has to learn how to use. He has to learn who can know, who to trust, etc., I cannot fault him for walking out on the relationship?

So, come on To by fans....Name Toby's flaw...

Hearing other people's thoughts makes him very sensitive. That can be good or a flaw. It makes him good at his job, but susceptible to an identity crisis (last episode of season 4).

He's a dork. He's having trouble expressing himself in the first two episodes of season 2, to Michelle. Being a dork myself, I can relate.

He finds it hard to follow orders. In Cold Case Blues, he went out by himself and talked to a contractor guy. Michelle told him not to do that again, but he does, later in Crossed (to a guy he was convinced was the murderer).

Sometimes I think he got a little overconfident with his reading abilities. His confidence in his ability can be fragile, as well.

There, I gave it a shot.
