Loving it!

I've been a fan of Melanie since a long time back... it's probably a given considering I'm also from New Plymouth. So when I saw this on the shelf at the local (usually crap!) video rental store and grabbed it without reading the back.

So far I'm only about half an hour in, and already I'm loving it. From recognizing the surroundings and the people, to trying to place which car yard they used (I think I have it now!), to the connections between the characters. Just so much on screen chemistry, between EVERYONE!

The couple of inconsistencies that have so far bugged me, are bound to be expected of course. Only inconsistencies that the locals would pick up. Such as the radio's call in number, the address of the car yard, the location of the yard in relation to the burger joint.

Craig Hall. Well, I've never been wowed by him. Until now. There's just something about his character's intelligence yet his naivety overpowers at times when he opens his mouth.

Interested on what others who have seen it think.
