a lot of people compare Doug Stanhope to Bill Hicks, and rightly so. Although Stanhope follows the: "setup, punch line" method to comedy a little more than Hicks. I believe as far as the laughs that they get, Stanhope is funnier, much funnier.

shareStanhope is just a rip off of Hicks act only with a beer in his hand. Not as obvious as what Leary did but still too close for comfort
sharestanhope does exactly what hicks fans claim that bill did, but actually did not deliver: hard hitting, inconvenient comedy from an unusual, very un-PC viewpoint.
