I mean it was pretty clever and but unexpected since it took 8 years to make anything related to Cloverfield plus the ending pretty much makes the connection but nothing like the First.
shareI remember reading somewhere, something in relation to this and what should be the third and final movie being planned back when the first came out but never actually realized til now. J.J. wanted to make them but they were never scripted or anything til now.
