Wasn't sure about this when it started, seemed a bit "samey" and uninspired borrowing heavily from Friends (but then I don't think you can make that kind of show without some parallels being drawn)

It's definitely improved as the series has progressed, not sure what the viewing figures were but there are much worse shows out there which get multiple series'

As an aside, I'm unconvinced about Katie, fairly anoying.

Jackie on the other hand is a peach (who is the actress?) no problems with the decision at the end of the most recent episode, choose the girl in the wedding dress. (another scene slightly stolen from friends)

It was getting good. I do agree with the actress playing Katie though. Everyone seems to play their characters spot on except Katie. I don't know but the actress playing her doesn't stand out at all. The others leave quite an impression to the average viewer except Katie, she is quite dull and boring.

I agree, Katie is a very dull and unintelligent character, no fault of the actress, badly written I think.

plslemme - I have no idea who he chose at the end, I meant that I personally would have no problems with that decision and would choose Jackie.

yeah, Dorian who plays Katie doesn't do a good job. I was there for the taping of episode 3 and she messed up way more than everyone else. I really didn't like her by the time the taping was over.

I think Dorian is adorable and very talented. Maybe she did mess up for what seemed like a lot to you but when you consider the fact that it was her first time as a lead on a series and taping in front of a live audience for only the third time as a lead...she's bound to mess up a bit. Plus, I heard they were notorious for changing the script A LOT during the taping of that show which would make it even more nerve racking. I was there for the 10th taping and the whole thing went very smoothly. I'm bummed it was canceled. Everyone was great on it.

Just finished watching the season finale episode, it's a shame that it's being cancelled though, as it did have some pretty funny moments. Katie was pretty annoying though. Season 2 would have been good :(

I'm pretty sure the actress who played Jackie is Kerry Butler but I am not entirely sure.

So was that the last show?
