The only release I like is this one, with the cops at the end... and I had it back in 2007 when it leaked online but I can't find it anywhere anymore... anyone know where to track it down?

I'm not sure where to find it either. I own a bootleg copy with that ending, and must admit: it's the only version of the ending that I like.
