Ben

I just watched this series for the first time on Netflix and I cannot stand Ben. On their first date he told her loved her? Who does that? Then he becomes instantly obsessed with her and wanting to her marry her and wants to tell everyone that the baby is his even though Ricky is the father and has the right to be in his child's life. He is constantly obsessing about Amy, leaving her multiple e-mails, texts, and voice mail messages in one day. He is also very possessive of Amy and jealous of Ricky. He is also a spoiled brat. I just find so beyond annoying and obnoxious to the point where I wished the show would have killed him off.

He gets worst. And he makes Amy unlikeable too. I'm about to finish the series (I stopped after that laughable season 3 finale. I know I did, during the last minutes. The acting, the music, the lines. It was so over the top & corny, I couldn't stop laughing). It's not bad, but not good either. I don't know, it's just trying too hard, I guess. It's like 7th Heaven trying to be a trashy soap, but without the experience or grasp on reality.

I agree, he just got worse and worse. I hated his story line with Adrian and how he was with her. I hated how after one date or sleeping with someone one time, he became instantly obsessed and wanted to marry the girl. He jumped into another obsession with Dylan and was so in love with her after one date. I hated the way he talked to his dad,Betty, and Camille. I hated his obsession with Amy. He kept insisting he was going to be her baby's dad and wanted to be in the room for sonograms, the baby's birth, and wanted to help determine if she kept the baby or gave him up. I hated how he came over George was having pizza with Amy and Ashley even though Amy kept telling him not too. I hated how he changed flights to be on the same plane with Amy. I hated that he set a school on fire and falsely called Omar and skated on both of them without suffering any real consequences. He was obsessive, possessive, jealous, entitled, selfish, and just plain creepy.

The only scene I enjoyed him is when Camille hauled off and punched him in the face because I wanted someone to punch him in the face or beat the crap out of him for so long leading up to the episode.

Leo should have put Ben in therapy with Mr. Fields to work through his obsessive, possessiveness, jealously, controlling, and entitlement issues.

Worse, thank you. I haven't noticed my misspell ;). I agree, he turned into a real psycho. I was expecting him to kidnap his next "girlfriend", and force her to play house with him, lol.

Hey we all misspell things from time to time. Ben was a real psycho and I forgot until now about the part where he hacked into Amy's diary and read it! He needed some serious therapy and I am surprised that Leo did not have him speak to Mr. Field. Leo himself went to therapy and seemed to benefit from it and Ben needed tons of therapy. It was totally creepy that Ben changed flights to be on Amy's plane and him living in the apartment above hers in NY. I am surprised Leo thought that was a good idea.
