I've watched half of the episode from last night and just wanted to comment on the new Gladiators. What a bunch of RETARDS!!! That black one whose eyes and about to pop out his head with the STUPID beardy nonsence, the one trying to look like the guy from 300...the SPASTIC who ran out like complete tosser when his name was called out, Warrior I think. Just what a bunch of over the top, trying too hard wankers.

I do like the programme don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching it on Sunday nights, but get rid of the STUPID Gladiators that try to hard.

Also, I'm not racist, but what was with the bombarding of inter racial contestants last night with their sob stories?!!

I don’t mean to be confrontational but for a non-racist you’ve brought race up an awful lot.
My main quibble with the new Gladiators was that all the focus on the new girls meant no Tempest. Which sucked ass frankly.

Why do people so frequently get told to "read the book" on a movie database?

There's a difference in bringing it up though, and being racist.

You've only got to mention race and people scream racist at you. Everyone is SO quick to label people racist they don't stop and think what they're actually implying.

I mentioned it twice in my post. The black Gladiator who was making his eyes bulge out was an idiot...how is that racist? He was making his eyes pop out and he was black, I didn't know his name and so others could easily identify who I meant I used his skin colour. It's the same as saying blond hair or something.

And then the contestants with their sob stories. Yeah that could be construed as a bit racist, even though it's not meant in a racist GET THEM BLACKS OFF or ANY thing like that. And it's not a, white contestants are better than black, or ANY implication like that. It was just a lot of sob stories and stuff for the first episode.

To be fair, Doom, the bearded Gladiator you referred to, hardly saw any action last week. Why complain about his gimmick when we haven't really seen what he can do yet?

I don't understand why people complain about the Gladiators acting tough and intimidating. All this smiling and "it was a good contest, you did well" rubbish gets boring pretty quickly. Look at Oblivion, Tornado, Warrior (from the look of things), Enigma, Siren... the list goes on, they all have a sting in their tails. In my opinion it's fun to see the glads rub salt into the contenders wounds. I know their trash talk seems a bit silly, but I for one don't take it very seriously, I just sit back and have a laugh at it, and as a result I enjoy it.
