Not having John Anderson there makes absolutely no difference. He became very annoying in the first series by constantly barking rules at the contenders, and for that reason alone I'm quite glad to see the back of him.

He was completely inconsistent. One minute every slight rule break was addressed and then next minute it was all good and fun to kick the Gladiators. Legend or not he had to go.
