None of you are real horror fans, you're a bunch of over analytical ####s,This movie was everything that real horror is. The metal soundtrack is a direct link to ultra-violent behavior and to the person that said this movie was for "15y/o metalheads" ,please!! If I was given a license to kill I would gut the lot of you immediately! The only drawback was that people should have died from the severity of their injuries,the priest,the killer,and the boyfriend, but I got past it and had fun with it. That being said,tuck you're prcks back between you're legs and wander on over to another genre, maybe family or drama if you don't like violent killing and torture!!!!!

The film was lame and deriative. The plot was ludicrous and characters appear just to get killed, mostly without knowing their names or anything about them. The gore was OK, but that does not make a film a good horror film.

I felt the film was a kind of homage to the many films of the eighties. Like a Jason or Myers who had a #####ed up childhood and had a total psychological break. In horror you don't need to love and care for all the dead bodies, thrillers give empathy for the cast a lot more and a did I had a great care
or connection to the woman, it was fun, as horror films should be to sick minded genre fans as myself....

Nobody on this board is saying they DON'T like violence and or torture, we all just prefer it if it's well done.

The gore in this was dimestore at best. The acting was abysmal with nary a performace to be had amongst the entire cast and the film was just really badly put together.

This is not a love letter to the genre but rather an attempt at a cash grab by some indie producers thinking that horror fans will watch any old crap you give them.

I agree to the prior poster.
As mentioned in my review, there is nothing unique in TOK. This movie is mediocre at most.
All this exaggerated postings serve all the same function: to drum up attention for this movie and cash up some extra bucks.

Actually I can say with almost 100% certainty that KillerMovie is not being paid to make his comments as I have seen him on many horror threads.

I don't agree with him on this movie though. I thought this was one of the worst movies I have seen in awhile. Maybe it was all the hype, maybe it was just a bad,bad film with no real point or story line..

I'm leaning towards the latter.

I don't think hype had much to do with it, as I'm waching the film now, and I think it's somewhat average. And the first thing that comes to mind is it's a cross betrween Halloween and silent night deadly night, with more gore.

This odd attempt at making a film was obviously made by amateurs so there's no reason why "KillerMovie" couldn't be one of the untalented hacks working on the film and also be a horror fan using different horrorsites on his spare time. If he worked on the film I assume he got paid. Probably not much though, but considering he seems to be severely retarded or maybe autistic, I don't suppose he would be able to get any proper work out in the real world. In other words he is most probably a paid poster and nothing you said discounts that propability in any way shape or form.

goona watch it but death metal does not a good horror movie make most often makes them absurd and takes the effect of the gore away, only flicks ive seen that done it well are traces of death 2&3, watch murder set pieces or if you wannt some serious gore check out niku daruma

and it sucked and no it wasnt that violent

Murder Set Peaces did it far better with gore and just being a plain better movie
Niku Daruma is 1000x as gory
Heck even Seed by Uwe Boll is better and more gory

I wouldn't go as far to say people who hated this don't know what real horror is. Opinions exist for a reason. But I did think this movie was great. The film was ultra-violent, brutal, the soundtrack was AWESOME and the final girl was hot and fearless. Not to mention the film looks beautiful outside of it's shaky cam. 7/10 from me. Not flawless but a good way to kill an hour.

MovieKid100's mom is a prostitute. One Direction sucks. You're Next failed. What else is new?
