The FX and Freddy makeup from the 1984 original look BETTER than this...

I challenge anyone to come up with a single frame from the original showing Freddy in anyway unconvincing or fake (heck even when Tina removes his face exposing his skull, the thing is gory and bloody and dark to look good enough).

Seriously, whomever hired the makeup crew here should be banned for life.

Just Freddy's face alone:
- He looks like The Mummy dude, almost waiting for a cockroach to crawl out of his cheek.
- He can't make any facial expressions, which totally kills the character (this is not Jason or Myers, you NEED Freddy to able to act with his face not just with his voice).
- He looks mummified and decomposed, NOT burned (and he should look like he JUST burned, not like a victim long after recovery).

The ONLY good thing in the movie was his glove, which is a nice modification over the original design (although to be honest the glove in the movie looks quite crappy, online replicas actually look way better unlike with the original which looked fantastic)
