A Walk in the Woods (2015)

Revealing mistakes

When Bryson and Katz arrive on foot at "the bunkhouse" the next day after the snowstorm, the camp is covered in snow but the surrounding trees and foliage are totally devoid of snow.

I had just started watching during this scene and the trees are not only devoid of snow, the background trees were deciduous and in full summer foliage stage in the background.
I think this film was made for profit and nobody cared about the work. Film is supposed to be an artform. If you're going to push the film out like a fart why even bother in the first place.

Springtime snow storms are funny, can be cold enough at night to snow but the warm sun can melt it quickly next day, shady areas under trees may last longer. Not really as big an error as believing Nolte can hike 8 miles a day.

Lol! Ya..Nolte hiking 8 miles a day. That's hillarious. He's 75 for god's sake. My mum is around that age and she rides an old people scooter to go to the corner shop!

I agree there are freak snow falls in June once in a blue moon...but when I noticed the green trees I also found it as an official blooper on the IMDB list of bloopers for this movie so I have to assume that if they are admitting it as a blooper than it definately was a mistake.

8 miles is not a huge amount in a day. A bit under 3 hours at a leisurely pace.

Then again, as you say, Nolte...

We just got a thin layer of snow in Wisconsin yesterday.
