Paul Newman

Listen, I enjoyed the movie- I thought the two main actors were really good together and portrayed the characters very well. It was mentioned somewhere that Redford looked 'uncomfortable with comedy' - I have to disagree. I believe his dry delivery perfect!
It has been said on here that the movie was to be a vehicle for Robert Redford and Paul Newman to be together again. I have to say I am glad that didn't happen. I would love for the two of them to have got together again, but not this movie. There were so many mistakes, but more importantly to me - it just wasn't good enough for the two of them - icons of their eras - just a little too weak. They starred together in two of the most memorable movies and to have to have remembered them in this movie would have tarnished that memory.
