Episode 2 only has about 20 mins tops of new material!!

The second episode is a disaster for a show that is already on shaky legs. As I watched episode two, I kept asking myself: "did I click the wrong link to start this show?" Sure, you want to bring everyone up to speed on what has happened in the first episode, but damn the technique employed here is like punishment. There's not enough time in the day for so much repartition.

As you watch the second episode, you're constantly asking yourself, when will the stuff I've already seen stop and new stuff start? At the end of the second episode I definitely felt like the pilot was meant to be 90 mins, but they cut it into 2 episodes to stretch the film soup. If every episode future episode will be like this, a mix of 65% old episode to 35% new material, then they can count me out.

What in the world are you talking about? You must not be referring to the 1 minute recap at the top of the show are you? Otherwise everything else in "The Doctor is in" is totally new...

Agreed. I think the OP watched the Starz Studios special and thought it was Episode 2. What a maroon!!!

Ok, I hate to accuse a show of being bad, when I actually want it to be good. So I'll admit that I didn't actually see episode 2, but rather the early episode 2 DVD screener. Whatever it was was what I mistook for ep 2. This one time you can call me a moron and I'll let it slide.
