The doctor reminds me of Smithers

I can't remember which episode I was watching, but it ocurred to me that the Doctor that is living with Dennis Hopper's character (sorry, I can't remember names right now)kind of reminds me of Smithers from the Simpsons. Maybe it's the whole homosexual fascination he has with Hopper/Mr. Burns.
