whats up with the cop and that girl (minor spoilers)

I'm almost through with the first episode and don't understand whats up with the sexual attention between the cop and the girl he hit. Is there something I'm missing?

I don't think it's too realistic...maybe...could happen. Personaly I think it's the sexiest relationship I've ever seen on television.

As of the end of the 2nd episode the relationship between the cop and the girl (crash victim) is similar to what happened in the movie "Crash" (1996) (check imdb with that movie) where accident victims after witnessing a crash or getting into a crash have a strong attraction to each other. While there are enough differences to not make it a copycat (for instance the characters in the 1996 Crash movie were injured and got turned on by specifically watching crashes or recreating them, very odd) it is oddly similar and the similar title too (to their defense there are a bunch of movies with a title of "Crash").

There is a possibility that the girl, while enjoying the experience, is just trying to get back at the cop by ruining his marriage and the husband she has is actually her brother or something like that. The director loves this idea of tricking the viewer into assuming people are what they are not. This copies "American Beauty"'s theme plus adding other cultures and races.

I think this relationship is too much. I dont really buy it. Moran Atias is hot but I think shes better at being a TV host. Her acting needs a good polish.

You are thinking for the wrong Crash movie. There were two, one about the crazies that get off on car crashes and the other one that won a best picture oscar.

I can't speak for others living in LA, but oddly enough when I was living there a few years back....I ended up hooking up with a women I rear ended(crashed into) on the 10 fwy...lol. And though I like the recent movie 'crash'...I'm not quite sold on the first 2 episodes of this show....the next 2 will make or break the show...in my opinion. As far as the popo(cop) & the girl...very odd,but sexy interaction so far....next episode should be interesting.

So far I am thinking that the latina woman is really a man. Hence the reasoning the man that answered the door said: I HAVE NO DAUGHTERS and she wanted him to do her in the butt as opposed to regular vaginal penetration. Also she kept refusing to give her license and registration, quite possibly cause it will have her sex as male. I think she had sex with him just to screw him over and to get back at him for messing up her car. As the series unfolds I believe it will open up and make all of us say OHHHHHHHHH or WOOOOOOOOOOW! Gotta give it a chance!!
