Seen on TV

I recently saw this movie on TV called "Portage" and it is only now being released in theatres?? That's quite odd to be on TV first - but I guess it's not surprising, as it wasn't very good - I found it to be fairly boring - so-so acting, cliched situations, just basically ho-hum.
