Does Anyone Remember the Alien Pharaoh Show from Several Years Ago?

I know I watched this program several years ago on either Discovery or History Channel, but I have never seen it aired since the original was played. It was a group of people investigating an Egyptian Pharaoh and legends about him/her possible being extraterrestrial. The last few minutes was a musculature reconstruction rendered in CG of the skull and the features was an alien. Overall it was a very unique and enjoyable show, I just wish they would reair it again. I thought the name was "Egypt's Alien Pharaoh" but I've had no luck searching for it.

Man I swear watching something like that too. I think there is a huge connection between UFOS and Ancient Egypt.
Hey was that the same show that shoed how Cairo had land that looked just like long landing strips and stuff?

I don't remember that part, but it may have. I'm starting to think that program hit to close to the truth someone has never allowed the show to be aired again. That is like that temple that has the heiroglyphs that look like a sub, helicopter, and UFO. It's pretty exciting to think about advanced ancient civilizations!

Yeah, I am almost a hundred percent sure aliens got involved some way with the ancient Egyptians. I mean for crying out loud, they built there temples so they were aligned with the stars. And correct me if I am wrong, but some of the stories about their gods mention them being from another star!

Now that you mention it, I do believe it did feature some of Sitchin's theories. I think it even had him on the show....it's been so long I honestly do not remember. I've read that article on Akhenaten before, and that's not what I'm referring to. Maybe if the guys over at AboveTopSecret would remember?

I remember a simlar special, there was a guy on there, I can't think of his name, who acted as host of sorts for the whole thing; and he talked about his theories sugguesting alien influence on the ancient world; and I think I saw another special that revisited some of those theories and interviewed him again.

But I remember him talking about a stretch of land in the desert, designed to be a landing strip of space craft, cultures that have taken to reshaping their heads through various means, in order to look more like the aliens that had once visited those cultures.

One thing that I found particularly interesting, especially since the Mythbusters actually exacmined this, without mentioning this special or seemingly not knowing anything about it, making the tests all the moer objective; he showed how there were heiroglyphs of what basically appeared to be a lamp, in ancient times. The lamp was basically a clay jar, with two filament sticking into some fluid inside; the filaments came up inside of some kind of glass bulb, where they were molded into the shape of two serpents facing each other. And when he made a replica of this, based on the drawing, and filled the jar with a weak acid, like vinegar, and put the bulb with the filaments inside it, the light came on.
And he talked about how, this was likely how they worked on the inside of the pyramids, especially some of the more detailed work; which explained why they never found any trace of carbon residue on the ceiling, which would have resulted from the smoke from torches.

I was always fascinated by that part in particular and expecially now that Mythbusters proved that too, but you never see or hear anything to do with the ancient world, talk about or investigate that. I mean, what happened that, a culture was using electricity, even in a crude form, and all of sudden that knowledge was lost?

I also remember him talking about "evidence" that sugguested the Egyptians had lasers and nuclear technology, or something along those lines, but I can't remember that part of the special.

I've been wracking my brain for years now, trying to remember who this guy was or what the special was called.
