Bill Birnes 'outfit'

Does Bill Birnes wear those gigantic aviator sunglasses to bed? I remember some episodes where he didn't wear them, and his facial tic was very obvious. Is that why he always wears them now? So he is constantly wearing them, and also wears that quasi-World War II military, fighter pilot get up with the leather jacket and ball cap. I don't know why this is so annoying to me, but I'm glad I could air such an insignificant thought on my part! Please, Bill, change your clothes once in a while and act like an adult rather than a 12 year old playing UFOs with your neighborhood playmates and you might come off as something more than an oddball. I'm watching the "Nazi" episode now, and reading this message board at the same time is making it all the more hilarious.

Thanks, Third-Age-Mage, for looking that up. Of course his poor wife is going to make excuses. Unfortunately, several more annoying things have cropped up in her post. He has macular degeneration and it MIGHT be caused by diabetes?? Er, go and get diagnosed, for crying out loud. You mean to tell me he can't afford to pay for a doctor's visit? What is that without insurance, $100? Maybe the loving wife could get a job that has insurance. Also, how do they know his diabetes is improving with "pata de vaca" (???what the hell???) if he has never been diagnosed with diabetes in the first place? Diabetes is pretty much measured by testing blood, so if he is not doing that, there is no way he would know if it helps. Fresh air and no sugar is not the way to deal with diabetes, you have to count the carbohydrates and test you blood glucose levels. I know this because my son is Type I diabetic. Well, that's all. Sorry to be a kook about this. LOL! One more thing. Can you imagine being married to him? {{{{{shudder}}}}}}

You're not alone. His outfit bugs me too. As if he seems more credible to people by wearing an "official" UFO Magazine ballcap. I assume ge gets at least a free subscription for wearing it in every episode.
