Console version is perfect apart from ONE thing.

The Sims 3 console = Basically a console version of The Sims 2/The Sims 3. You can build homes with three floors and watch your Sims grow. It's amazing and I recommend it for those who doubt buying it.

However, you can't have pets, you can't build your own neighborhoods and you can only have one playable family. I can live with those things as I wasn't huge fans of them. I'm the "build a legacy" kind of player. Screw the neighborhoods! I'm all for the babies, houses and *beep*

The console game has one major flaw though. Why the hell does it ERASE your entire Sim family members, family history, relationships, lot and gameplay if you decide to move a Sim out of the household you are playing? My Sim is grown up and wants to move out, but that would mean deleting everything else I've done!

Essentially that means everything you have done so far for your Sim family has been pointless and you will just repeat the cycle again if your current moved-out Sim has a kid, they grow up and decide to move out from the house you just moved into, then that Sim is the only one to exist.

I don't get why the makers did this? They need to release some kind of expansion for the console version and sort it out. I don't care about creating multiple families, but erasing the entire game before that is a bit much.

You're either playing dumb, or it's not an act.

I have this on PS3, and I actually really dont like the fact that you cant play as more than one family :( They need to fix that asap. Still like the game though.
