This was a brilliant film, yes it was Hitchcockesque in a way because it had a good story with suspense and an interesting situation.
But why are people calling it slow???
It seems to me that anything that isn't cut at light-speed is branded as slow these days!!
Let a film draw you in with intrigue and plot. All you need is to watch and pay attention to what's going on!!

I just watched the film yesterday, and I also think it's great.
It just seems that the people who think it's slow must be suffering from "Triple S" or "Seven Second Syndrome", meaning that there has to be an explosion every seven seconds to make the movie keep the person's attention or they will think that the movie is not good.
All I can say those kind of people (who haven't watched it yet) is to sit down and watch the movie and pay attention. Some plot points in the film do have the impact that is the equivilant of an exploding car, in my opinion.
Ollie, just because poison happens to exist is no excuse to commit murder with it.
