Tonto Woman

Great film , Francesco Quinn was brilliant as Reuben Vega in Daneil Barber's adaptation of Elmore Lenoard's short story The Tonto Woman. I have always considered the Tonto Woman one of my favorite short stories right there with 'The Short ,Happy Life of Francis Macambre '. Its errie pace builds in its itensity . There is are moments in the film that are pure art.
It should WIN the Oscar over the favorite the Shclocky 'Mozzart of theives' and Supplemente . Catch them all by going to the Land Mark Cinema one in Pasadena.
