car/suv in the background

am i the only person who has noticed the car that is parked in the background of one scene?

it's in the scene where the 3 guys are on horseback, challenging the other guy. you can see the car clear as day in between the guy on the middle horse and the guy on the right horse - it's some kind of light blue or gray minivan/suv or something, and it's between their upper arm areas.

i just youtube'd it and that scene is on there....

please...someone...reassure me that i wasn't smoking dry poppies before i saw the nominated shorts program i saw this in last night! i swear it's there!!!

I went to You Tube (I saw your comments there as well) and must confess I don't see the car. Maybe if I get a chance, I'll sneak back into it while its still showing and see if I can spot it.

Do you think this will realy beat "At Night?"....

this is soooo frustrating to me. i just can't believe that i'm the only person who saw it. i know it's there. if only itunes had it for sale like they had all the shorts for sale last year!

It's probably the sunlight hitting the middle guy's belt. And all the nominated videos are available on iTunes now.

I saw your posting on youtube as well and all I can see at the point you specified is a sunlight reflection. there seems to be nothing in the background that resembles a car at all.

I just watched the oscar shorts DVD and I see the car(s), it actually looks like two. The clearest shot of them is at the 18:15 mark. It's not when the camera is looking directly at the three horsemen, but when the shot is angled from their front left. A van parked with a car facing it that look to be about 100 yards behind the actors.

Nice catch.

I'll be darned. I would have NEVER seen that if you didn't point it out. How do people notice these things???
