The trailer reuses scenes from the other movies.

I'm confused. The trailer shows that Beethoven gets to be in some movie, but then it shows him pulling some lawn chairs with his leash across the yard, eating bacon off a plate, and shaking mud and slobber off all over a bedroom.

So basically, it looks like they just reused everything from the other Beethoven films to make this one.

I'll reserve judgement until it's available to actually see (Unlike those who have already rated the movie on IMDB - you guys are so smart), but for now, it doesn't look groundbreaking in any way. Jonathan Silverman has got to be embarrassed to be in it, no matter how good or bad it turns out.

Basically, forget that the first 5 movies wernt made.
This film is about a director making a movie about Beethoven and the movie consists of what happened in the first few.

So this is like a movie about the making of the original Beethoven. See?? :)

So it's like Craven's "New Nightmare"?

If you think your game has lag...it took Jesus three days to respawn!

OK guys, well I've finally seen it (I recorded it off of D Channel months ago... just put off watching it due to fear of having my dreams dashed).

Believe it or not, this isn't a BAD movie (And I attempted to sit through Ace Ventura Jr., so I should know).

The trailer suggests that this movie is very similar to the original Beethoven. Truthfully, in many ways it is. Except, in this film, Beethoven is cast in a movie, in which he performs many of the same gags as in the original film (Such as eating bacon off of Grodin's plate, or pulling chairs across yards, etc.) There's even the usual bad guy who wants to tranq the cute dog.

The movie is harmless, that's for sure, and I just think it's very hard to mess up a movie featuring such a lovable dog. But the cast (Notably Jennifer Finnigan... The Jane Krakowski of movies) is pretty darn good. Even Silverman isn't embarassing.

Stick around through the credits, because there is a great fake DVD cover in there that is a call back to one of Silverman's biggest movie hits.

Universal did this because they wanted to clean their hands of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th entries, which sucked ass.
