Such a pinched face....so lacking in expressivity....Dano is a mumbled mediocrity.
This film should have been about John Goodman's chharacter.....then it could have been rescued....otherwise it's an amateurish attempt at artificial life....if *beep* directs....this is it....
I agree...I kept watching his mouth because I was so intrigued by how he moved it. At points I thought maybe he suffered some nerve damage in his lip and can't move it, it happens.

shareIs lack of jaw movement is totally startling, I know... Seriously, it kind of frightened me. Being a Paul Dano fan (yes, that does indeed exist haha), I was completely disappointed. He can do - and has done - a lot better than that.
sharedid the director tell him to act like a mannequin. he was supposed to be wanting a baby for years then they say he was accepted to get a baby and hes just like ok, with no emotion. how could zoey's character fall for mr emotionless motionless zombie.
