Lack of Sex Crimes

One thing I did not like or I should say makes the movie less accurate is the lack of "sex crimes aka Rape." Now let me be clear I am not advocating "sex crimes" scenes in movies, however when it's a movie about a serial killer sometimes have have to be a little disturbing part when you showing the disturbed.

I watched the movie and then researched Dennis Radar aka BTK, from several internet sources. The movie made it seem like all he did was reference sex, but just killed his victims. This is not true there were several "sex crimes" in his history.
I think the movie should of pointed that out better than it did. I thought all he did was kill from the movie, it was through more research did I find the truth.

Well that is my two cents on the matter. Overall a good movie providing a reasonable insight of a serial killer.

Anyone else agree or disagree?

Serial murder ALWAYS has a sexual component, whether the killer performs physical sex acts in the process or not. Even Son of Sam, who ambushed and shot his victims without any physical contact, got off on the acts. I recommend books by early FBI profilers, like John Douglas and Robert Ressler, for more info.

No it doesn't, I have asked some of my friends, who are in the midst of their murders, and they agree with me...

I don't know where you got your information from, Davis, but according to Rader himself, he never raped any of his victims. On several occasions, he masturbated, but he didn't have intercourse with anyone. I'm sorry this movie didn't have the sexual crimes you were looking for, but it's only because they didn't happen.
