Cotten and Lloyd

The actor who portrayed Joseph Cotten was tall and had dark hair, but that's about where the resemblance ended. Apparently he just decided to play him as a silly frat boy and never bothered to look at the real Cotten in a film to get a clue about how he talked or moved. And what an odd decision to have the guy who played Norman Lloyd do an impersonation of Satch from the Dead End Kids movies.
