I apologize in advance I dont follow the videogames but I do enjoy the Resident Evil movies series.
So Ali Larter's character in RE3: Extinction, is she consistent with the character in RE:Degeneration?
Also, then where did Alice come from then?

Larter's Extinction Claire is more militant and charismatic, whereas the Claire in RE:D is practically an inept, walking vegetable. They pretty much discharded her in exchange for the Angela Miller character. Alice was made specifically for the live action films.
Both movies aside (not trying to ignite a vs debate), how people can try to claim that Claire was better utilized in Degeneration over Extinction will forever remain a mystery.
Claire in the video game versions is not the tough cigarette smoking chick in the movie. They really have nothing in common except for the name.
