Felt like I was playing a game but didn't get to play

My brain kept thinking I was watching a cut scene in a game and was about to take control of one of the characters in the scene. Especially right after the plane crash in the beginning... I was ready to play as Claire. It was quite disappointing when I remembered it was just a movie, and i wouldn't get to play.

My brother and I said the same thing. When the camera pulls back as the zombies are falling off the plane, I was waiting for it to cut back to the gamescreen with a caption saying "Reach the Lobby!" or something. Haha!!

Great movie, though. This is the kind of RESIDENT EVIL film the live-action franchise should have been making.
