Alan Arkin's scene

I got my hopes up for "City Island" when Alan Arkin appeared. In just a few moments he makes you forget the painful experience of listening to "New Yawk" accents from the other characters. I hoped for more, but his performance was not much more than a cameo.

As a Bronx native, they could have called this movie "Tribeca". It would have made a lot more sense.

You don't know where I've been.

Tribeca? From what I have read, the original inhabitants of Tribeca were over run by a bunch of posers, The original shops run out by jacked up rents and replaced by botiques selling the same over priced crap you can get anywhere.

Doesn't look the same to me. I didn't see anyone walking around with a tiny dog in their purse.
