LOl I'm totally mad they made Gary look like it is a ghost town. People still live here. I'm mean sure the population has gone down (as well as a lot of other stuff) but come on...

I wonder what they did with the bums who live in those building during filming- lol.

They were totally right about the weather though. Living by Lake Michigan makes winters a b***h. Last winter there was an ice storm 2 days before Christmas that caused a blackout. And it was -10 degrees outside.

Yea they made it a bit dramatized. Though I will say it can be a little creepy driving through Gary.

I am not familiar with the specific episode but the point of the series is to discuss what might happen to man made structures and items if man were no longer around.

If they used Gary, Indiana as an example they should not have shown anyone.
