Help me with ending (Spoilers LDO)

Perhaps it was my subtitles, but the conversation between the protaganist and the cop's wife at the end of the movie left me wanting. She asked him if he would stay around and he said "as long as he is still here." As I'm writing this, I realize he was probably referring to his father, and not (vengefully) to the cop as I had originally thought. Is that the case?

Is it clear that while the protaganist will hold the wife's secret of infidelity, she will too hold his secret of bank heist? Or is that left ambiguous?

Would anyone care to transcribe the last few exchanges from that conversation, proceeding his admittance of being the bank robber?

Great film 9/10. -1 point for perceived plot transparency.

He was referring to his father actually it was his grandfather afaik.

There is no "deal" - its more a bond. He did not need to confess.
Maybe he wanted it. A final piece for him to fully accept responsibility...
Until the scene on the bench he really struggled with that.

There wasnt much exchange after that. She finally realized what is going on.
Most important to her (and now even more - pregnancy) - please dont tell my husband. Both somehow got what they needed.

it seems he's referring to the old man, although i also didn't quite realize this till now. i know some German and i think the sentence you're refering to he says(in German) "so lange er lebt" which is basically "as long as he's alive/ living"
