Any news on the next season?

Now that Ridonculous Race is done with, is there any news on the next season? It's already been half a year since the spinoff show was released.

As of April 13th Fresh has had no indication if Teletoon and Cartoon Network will be ordering more Total Drama. It's possible we may never actually see it formally cancelled if they pass on more episodes.

If they do more, I hope they bring back the monologues in the fly-infested outhouse!

The broadcasters could pick up some more TD and RR in late 2016, to be exact. Also the creator has promised 10 ten seasons of the show.

They might like to do 10 seasons, but it will only happen if someone is willing to buy it, and I suspect that's not going to happen.

Yet it would also be typical for many franchises whose spark went out.

2016 is about to end, and there's now a line on the series Wikipedia entry that there's no news about further episodes as of December, 2016. I think it's fair to say we won't be seeing any new Total Drama until late 2017. I suspect that Spring 2018 is a more likely date, but I also suspect the series probably is done. A Spring 2018 debut would put it almost 3 years after The Ridonculous Race debuted, which is a long hiatus for any series.
