Why didn't this come out in theatres?

Because the Weinstein Company was having financial difficulties and couldn't afford to release it theatrically. It's truly a shame, because this movie had excellent production values, a stellar cast, and a great plot. This could have been a huge break for Robbie Jones and Jackie Long as the two teammates who stood out to me.
