too invasive just to post on movies but in this case I made an exception

Is this some amatuer, first time at professional movie making?
Why you make a movie 1:38hrs long and fill 1st entire hour with *beep*
Go back to your short stories on you tube buddy, you are not pready for prime time.
1st hour: walk around campus, answer a phone, have lunch with friend, look at your roomate's bf, take a road trip, talk to old man, walk around house, order a pizza...

lol - *beep* movie is *beep* but it did help me to remember the name Ti West, a name I will certainly be looking for before I watch another horror movie, he doesnt know the first thing about building suspense or terror in a horror movie....

I stopped watching her *beep* home tour of the mansion to write this, might as well, NOTHING ELSE IS GOING ON....
1:14 - this guy remembered that audio plays a part in horror movies, I finally heard some, 20 minutes before the movie ends...

1:35 - doesnt matter; I just FFWD through the last segments, monks running around trying to kill her, then laying in a hospital...

I dont even gaf about the end because you've wasted way too much time making a bad movie that whatever is in those last 20 mins arent going to make up for it, not to me.

That said, Im gald I didnt pay to see this student film project, it was horrible. Never watch another movie from this director, he doesnt know the first thing about this genre.

I pretty much agree with your entire post. The sad thing for me is that I had seen this movie once before and completely forgot about it until I watched it again on Amazon tonight. About 15 minutes in I felt like i had seen the movie before. I remembered something about her ordering a pizza. I understand why it was very forgettable then and still forgettable now.

Eh, to each his own. If you want subtlety in a movie have you watched "The Blackcoat's Daughter" ? That one was a really good movie in my humble opinion and very memorable. :)
