The actor playing the role is Eamonn Walker. He's a British actor who I think is probably best known in the US for his portrayal of Kareem Saïd on HBO's "Oz". He’s a talented chap. I’m a big fan.

Throughout the movie I kept wondering what else I'd seen him in and looking at his page, now I remember - he was the doctor in the opening scene of "Unbreakable"! Ha, it's funny but I've also seen "Lord of War" and he was in it but I barely remember anything about that movie.
