Something I noticed

In several episodes, I have noticed that when the agents do a search, gloves are not always worn. Some wear gloves, but thers just go around touching everything. This is wrong for two reasons. First, anytime you are looking and gathering evidence, it is important to not get your prints all over the scene and evidence. The second reason is more of a health issue. They are searching a location filled with unknown substances an possibly needles. I see them just stick their hand inbetween sofas, beds, etc.. There is a major risk in doing that without gloves. Just my observation though, maybe they know something I don't.

Yeah man, what your saying makes sense. I'm actually working in law enforcement with the military at the moment, and even they emphasize how its important to preserve crime scenes or other essential areas, or even just doing a search of a place. Plus it of course is definitely a major health hazard; one needle prick from a bad syringe, and they're in trouble. Good observation.

Thats because this show is BS. It sure is fake.

So a needle can't poke through a glove? Good to know!

Actually the gloves are supposed to be (I've never tested) constructed to not be penetrated by needles. Similar to the gloves that are "cut proof". Nothing is perfect, but I'd still wear the gloves.

they're made of a kevlar style mesh product that's needle proof. Not talking just regular latex doctor exam gloves here...
